It does say trail mix but the keyword is “homemade”. So it means NO to the grocery bought and sugar-filled trail mix filled with chocolate chips and glazed fruit. The best combination for a homemade trail mix is this:
Quarter cup of whole grain cereal
Quarter cup of California raisins
Quarter cup mixed of nuts preferably almonds, walnuts, cashew and peanut (unsalted and roasted)
A tablespoon of dark chocolate chips
