5 Breakfast Foods You Should Be Eating And 5 You Shouldn’t

Pancakes and Syrup

As much as you like to eat pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast, well, the truth is that this combo is like eating dessert with all the sugary and carbs stuff. First off, pancakes are made of refined flour – this type of flour comes from a base which has been stripped off of nutrients. Second, the syrup is too sweet. Too much of something is bad and this is the definition of TOO MUCH.

Alternative: Make your own pancake by using whole wheat flour. As for syrup, if you can resist it, don’t add anything except for some Greek yogurt or berries. Otherwise, use a teaspoon of organic honey for a sweet taste.
