Gluten-free foods may be junk foods.
The mere mention of gluten-free is supposed to be healthy. Most people believe that all gluten-free foods are nutritious and balanced, so as to compensate for the lack of gluten. But here are some manufacturers who just can get their marketing advertisements right and they would offer “gluten-free” foods like cookies, pastries, mac and cheese, pizza and so on. Even beer – it is being made as gluten-free.
Where is the nutrition in this? Gluten-free foods are supposed to be nutrient-dense and not junk-enriched. Don’t be fooled into believing that a sugary dessert with a gluten-free label is actually good for you.
