Chicken Breast, Yam and Veggies – Dinner
At least 7 ounces to at most 9 ounces of no skin, chicken breast
A serving of yam, no sugar
A cup of peas, carrots and corn, without butter and less salt
This dinner ensemble is the best combination of lean protein and carbs which pumps up the insulin levels inside the body. If the insulin is functioning as intended, growing muscles won’t be a problem. Yam promotes slow digestion and coupled with the chicken breast, it keeps body fat to a minimum.
