There is less worry about illness and food-borne pathogen with organic.
If you think food that is organic cannot get infected with bacteria, you are dead wrong. Europe was hit by an E.Coli outbreak way back in 2011. This occurrence got 31 people killed. Thousands of individuals got sick too. The culprit? Organic bean sprouts that came from a certified farm in Germany. This is due to CDC’s Food-borne Disease Outbreak System.
A 2016 report of the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) states that safety followed with inorganic food must be done with organic ones, too. They have been tracking 18 large scale outbreaks between 1992 and 2014. In those 18 years, people have become sick and have been sent to hospitals. There were also reports of fatalities – three, at least. Salmonella is also present in free-range and organic chickens.
