Fast food can affect your insulin resistance
There was a study done by scientists from Minnesota University for 15 years regarding fast food consumption and its effect to insulin resistance. Well, it was discovered that by consuming fast food meals two times a week for 15 years made the test subjects ten pounds heavier. Insulin resistance level also doubled due to consumption of fast food meals twice a week.
No wonder the problem on insulin resistance and diabetes have skyrocketed in the last decade. This could be due to eating fast food meals on a regular basis.
